There are billions of us. And we were here first.
If anyone gets to end this world ... it's me.

Like most Americans, Kali's an immigrant. No one knows when she first came here from India; it might have been with the first human immigrants from there, or it might have been much, much earlier. (No one knows if she's actually the same being as the goddess Kali who's worshipped today in India, either. She's not telling.)

Some might say this isn't good country for gods. Kali, and any number of other deities of her acquaintance, would disagree. She lives here, and likes it just fine.

And if she and her kind occasionally get mistaken for (or equated with) demons and monsters, by the humans who make it their life's work to rid the land of such ... or by the other beings starting to stir here and there, the hideously powerful creatures called angels, who consider them even worse abominations ... well.

Let them try.





Appearance-wise: Kali is (or appears as) a dark young woman, entirely human-seeming. Any reasonably strong extrasensory perception will be able to tell that she's far more powerful than she looks. Among the abilities we've seen her display are telekinesis, pyrokinesis, and blood magic -- but she's not likely to be showing off any of those on a regular basis.

Kali is from Supernatural (specifically, from a Season 5 episode called "Hammer of the Gods"), and is the property of Eric Kripke and the CW. She appears here solely for the purpose of roleplaying in milliways_bar and other LJ-based roleplaying games, from which no profit whatsoever is being made.
